LADIES AND GENTLEMEN - WE HAVE SILVER!!!

Started working with PMC3 tonight and for my first time it didn't come out too awfully bad. I just did circles and squares and plan on using them as spacers. Learned a lot. 1) It REALLY shrinks 2) you have to file everything down when it's dry to get a smooth surface 3) IT'S FUN FUN FUN!!

The melting though didn't go as planned because the hubby ran out of gas in the tanks. Will try again this week hopefully sometime.

Here's some pics of the finished product. I LOVE this stuff!

My only child left this afternoon with the man of her dreams to get married on a Florida beach. I am still in denial! I did make her a really cool anklet bracelet last night though. Darth Vada and I already miss her but she's in very good hands.

Darth Vada and I passed our red belt decided test in Taekwondo last night (at least no one told us we didn't!). This is the first day I've been able to breathe. I'm making Kimberly and cool ankle bracelet tonight. Pics tomorrow. I think I'll make some similar and sell them while keeping some for myself!

Just got some great copper hearts in the mail and cannot wait to start making something with them. Hopefully I can get to them tonight if I'm not too wiped out. Testing for my red belt decided in Taekwondo tonight with my granddaughter. Kim's gonna wait until she gets back from her wedding but she's gonna watch. No pressure here!!

Friday night out with my daughter and her "girls" to celebrate her upcoming wedding on a Florida beach next weekend. A great time was had by all at the Japanese steak house. I think I left weighing 5 pounds more than I did going in! EEEKKK. Here some pics of the whole group and a picture of the necklace I made for her wedding.

I MADE THIS!! That's what my four year old granddaughter kept saying as she ran through the grocery store with a banana held high above her head! So that's what I think of everytime someone asks me about my jewelry. I MADE THIS!!

This is a turquoise and abstract silver pendant (made by yours truly).

EEEKKK - this is much harder than I thought. I've been on this computer an hour and have accomplished NOTHING! I should be making something instead of trying to figure this out.
Well, this is certainly going to interesting. This is the first time I've blogged - but I have looked at other peoples blogs. Theirs - like they were done by a professional with years of experience, master degrees in design, cool backgrounds, great pics, etc. etc. etc. Mine will be a work in progress and I am open to suggestions.....PLEASE!

I'm always trying to find new things to incorporate into my jewelry. This week I have three new and different things coming in the mail and I can hardly wait to see them. It will be a surprise so please come back and check it out. And two out of three of them came from checking out links to other people's blogs!

I'm also going to be working with copper this week. I've been making bracelet links and need to get some pictures taken. Very rustic and unusual. I'll update with some pics as I go along.

So forgive me if this isn't up to other blogs. But I'm a fast learner! And I'm sure I won't be updating this on a nightly basis. I hardly have time to breathe as it is. Have a good night.
